Kevin Sidow - President and Chief Executive Officer:
In February 2008 Kevin Sidow began his role as President and Chief Executive Officer for Moximed, Inc. Prior to his current role, he was President and CEO for St. Francis Medical Technologies, Inc. Founded in 1997, St. Francis Medical Technologies was a privately held, venture funded company focused on developing innovative treatments for patients suffering from degenerative spinal disorders. In January 2007, St. Francis Medical Technologies, Inc. was sold for $725 million to Kyphon Inc. Previously, Kevin was the Worldwide President of DePuy Inc., where he oversaw the global orthopedic, spine, trauma, and sports medicine businesses with annual revenue responsibility of over $3 billion. Kevin holds a BS in Accounting from West Virginia University.

Anton Clifford, PhD - Vice President of Research & Development and Co-Founder:
Anton is a founding member of the Moximed team. Since its inception in 2006, he has lead the concept creation and product development activities in the role of VP of Research and Development. Prior to joining Moximed, Anton held a variety of R&D management positions at Abbott Vascular, a division of Abbott Laboratories, including Director of Research and Development for Coronary Technologies. In 2005, Dr. Clifford was inducted into Abbott Laboratories Volweiler Society, a society established to recognize the company's most distinguished scientists and engineers, and was awarded researcher of the year for outstanding contributions made to Abbott Laboratories vascular stent research. Dr. Clifford started his career in medical devices at MedNova Ltd. in 1998, where he led the Carotid Stent Development Program. Anton has produced novel medical technology inventions in the fields of vascular, otology, rhinology and orthopedic devices that have resulted in more than 90 filed US & International patents and multiple scientific publications. Dr. Clifford has holds a BSc and PhD in Materials Science from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Vicki Hacker, RN, MS - Vice President of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance:
Vicki joined Moximed in June 2008. She has over 20 years experience in the healthcare field and with medical device companies.  Prior to Moximed, Vicki was the VP of Clinical Affairs with Conor Medsystems (acquired by Johnson & Johnson).  Prior to that, she held VP positions at Capnia and RITA Medical Systems.  Vicki has a wealth of knowledge and has achieved great success in regulatory compliance and submissions and has successfully directed clinical trials across a variety of medical device sectors. Vicki holds an MS in Nursing Education and Administration from San Jose State University and a BA in Nursing from Rush University.

Cindy A. Lynch, JD - Vice President of Intellectual Property:
Cindy joined Moximed in August 2009. She has over a decade of experience as an intellectual property attorney and for the past seven years has worked exclusively in the medical device field. Cindy continues to work with SpinalMotion, Inc. as their Vice President of Intellectual Property. Prior to that she was the VP of Intellectual Property at Conor Medsytems and a Partner at Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis LLP, where she successfully counseled clients on worldwide patent strategy. Cindy holds a JD from George Mason University, School of Law and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Luigi Bivi - Managing Director, Europe:
Luigi joined Moximed in January 2011 with over 15 years experience in the orthopedic field. Prior to joining Moximed, Luigi was the VP of Sales and Strategic Business Development for Smith & Nephew AG where he was responsible for Southern Europe, overseeing revenues of $130 million and 220 employees. Prior to that, he held management positions at Plus Orthopedics AG and Centerpulse Orthopedics, Italy. Luigi is also the Co-Founder for Sevika Medical AG. He has achieved an excellent reputation and a history of success throughout the industry. Luigi holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology-ETH Zurich, he is fluent in five languages and currently resides in Zurich.

John Ordway - Director of Operations:
John joined Moximed in September 2008 with over 20 years of Supply Chain and Operations Management experience. Prior to joining Moximed, John was the Director of Global Supply Chain Management for Angioscore, Inc. Previously, John held the position of Director of Supply Chain for Kyphon and Director of Operations for St. Francis Medical Technologies. John also spent six years at Guidant Corporation in various management positions. John holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BS in Political Science and a BS in Psychology from the University of Oregon.

Thomas Michal - Director of Health Care Economics and Reimbursement:
Tom joined Moximed in September 2008. Tom has over a decade of experience focusing on health economics, reimbursement, and managed payor relations. Recently, Tom held the role of Group Director, Strategic Reimbursement at Smith & Nephew. Prior to that, Tom held senior management positions at Allina Health Systems/Medica, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and PacifiCare Health Systems. Tom holds an MBA from Rice University and a BS in Management from the University of Massachusetts.

Keith Fong - Director of Marketing:
Keith joined Moximed in March 2010. Keith has over a decade of experience in the medical device field, with a cross-functional background in multiple industry segments. Recently, Keith was a Manager of Business Development for Maquet Cardiovascular (formerly the Cardiac and Vascular Surgery Divisions of Boston Scientific). He has previous product marketing and clinical sales experience with Guidant’s Vascular Intervention, Cardiac Rhythm Management, and Cardiac Surgery business units. Prior to that, he held roles in R&D and Project Management for Guidant. Keith holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Christine Barcelos - Director of Human Resources, Administration, Facilities:
Christine joined Moximed in February 2008. Christine has over 20 years experience in Business and Human Capital Management. Prior to joining Moximed, Christine held the position of Director of HR and Administration for St. Francis Medical Technologies. Christine played a pivotal role in the acquisition of St. Francis by Kyphon, Inc and was a key member of the transition team following the sale. Prior to that, Christine held Business Management roles of increasing responsibility in the ophthalmology field. Christine holds a BS in Behavioral Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a BA in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mark Withers - Director of Business Operations, EMEA:
Mark Withers joined Moximed in June 2010. Mark brings a wealth of experience with him, most recently as Director of Strategic Marketing for OrthoMimetics Ltd. Previously, Mark held the role of Sales and Marketing Manager for Smith & Nephew in their reconstructive products division. Mark has over 18 years experience in orthopaedics with a strong record of success. Mark holds a BS in Applied Chemistry from Hatfield Polytechnic and a post-graduate diploma in Marketing.
