What Can I Expect From the Procedure?
A doctor can help determine the best treatment for your individual situation, depending on the severity of your disease and your desired activity level. To date, the KineSpring® Knee Implant System has been successfully implanted in patients with a range of disease severity, activity levels, and ages.
Patients in recent clinical trials of the KineSpring System typically left the hospital after less than one week and resumed full weight bearing on the knee less than two weeks after the procedure. As a precaution, many surgeons recommend limiting activity for the first two weeks following surgery to allow the surgical wounds to heal. Early clinical results include high patient satisfaction, pain reduction, and functional improvement.1
The KineSpring System is currently available in certain centers in Europe and Australia. If you are interested in finding a doctor trained and qualified to implant the KineSpring System, please follow the "Find A Doctor" link on this page and ask about the KineSpring Knee Implant System.
